I love looking at this. There could be two reasons behind Thor’s grab at Loki’s upper arm. Is it to ensure he doesn’t try to run off, or is it an attempt at contact? We see countless times throughout the film how Thor tries to talk his brother into returning home.
And even now, after everything Loki did, overly accepting Thor is reaching out to touch him. And then Loki tugs his arm away and that minor illusion is ruined.
